Loggies the Turtle and Other News

It has been a while between Kecks emails - sorry, but we have been busy as you will see. This is the time of the year when we are working on getting new designs made up and getting them ready for the new season. And Turtles are coming back, which we are celebrating with an addition to the Kecks family!

We are sponsoring a Turtle

One of our most popular patterns ever was Turtles, and so we are bringing it back this year. To celebrate its return, we have sponsored a baby Loggerhead Turtle at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town. This is a perfect cause for us to support as we love the sea and its creatures. He is named Loggies after our first ambassador, Anton van Loggerenberg, SA hockey goalie.

Loggies’ Journey

Loggies was rescued in Mossel Bay in March. He was missing a scute on his head - one of the horny plates, but he is being well looked after by the aquarium team.

Eco Fabric

You can see the new turtles style below. It’s very similar to the original, with a slightly darker background. The Turtles will be made with eco recycled fabric. We have tested it thoroughly and it’s perfect!

Market news

Good news for Joburg Kecks lovers - we will be in Johannesburg at Glenshiel Market again in October this year. In Cape Town, we were recently at the Best Thing Ever market at Simon’s, Groot Constantia - many thanks to all those who came down to see us!

Finding your size

You can filter the collection you are looking at on the site by size so you can find what you want. Where it says "Filter", select "In stock" under availability, and then the size you are looking for. Only those styles with that size available will show up.

Where to Buy

The largest selection of Kecks will always be on our website, but some people prefer to shop IRL, so you can always find our retailers and markets on our site under "Where to Buy".
